I think Instagram will usher in a new era of straightforward photography without artifice. There can be only so many film-grained, black-bordered lomostyle digital photographs before a certain saturation level is reached and people begin to tire of looking like the past.
I think the next trend will be new cameras with hyperreal 3D capabilities; you’ll be able to see your friend’s pores in bathroom mirror gpoys.
