Is there a name for the little “musical flourish” found at the end of certain songs that don’t seem very connected to the rest of the track? It seems limited to older romantic pop ballads. They happen after the beat has stopped, and frequently contains a rising punctuating series of notes on a string instrument.
i’m working on a game right now with mr. dragonmaw. progress has been a little bit slow because i’m really terribly lazy and wasn’t working in a way that was stimulating, but i kind of flipped a mental switch recently that has made my work a hundred times easier and more fun….
